About Brian

My Background

Brian is a 1989 graduate of Oley Valley High School. With Oley roots dating back to 1720, Brian is a familiar face to Oley who cherishes the culture, tradition, and people of Oley.

Having two sons in Oley schools, Brian has had experience with, volunteered for, and supported numerous school organizations, including FFA/Ag, BCTC, STEM, HOSA, music, athletics, and many others.

Brian also has experience in local government, serving on the Alsace Township Planning Commission for the past 8 years, where he currently serves as the Vice Chair. Additionally, he has experience in transportation and logistics, working for Brook Ledge Horse Transportation in Oley for the last 20 years.

I look forward to working with the school board team in support of the students' education while keeping the community's interests in mind.

The Education of Oley Valley Students

I strongly believe that Oley Valley provides some of the best education in Berks, and I want to keep it that way. Oley must continue to prepare its students for life after graduation in the workforce, higher education, or other paths. In such a small community and school, the success of our students is remarkable, and we must continue to put the kids first and continue to foster that success.

The Oley Valley Community

While we continue to build upon the excellent educational foundations that OVSD has to offer to our students, keeping the community's interests in mind is essential to educating the next generation. This includes valuing Oley traditions and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
